Inside Sales Executive – Virtual IT

You must be a highly-motivated, high-energy, results-driven lead generation specialist. As our specialist, you will be responsible for telephone and email prospecting; qualifying and processing marketing leads for the sales team; and generating reports of their key findings.

Part of your job will be to work directly with the Managing Director to develop an appointment setting strategy and to workshop messages and approaches to your role which will grow the business.


Primary Job Functions

  • Follow a qualification process for prospecting
  • Generate qualified leads that are processed as new opportunities and enter these in the  CRM system
  • Reach out to prospects via telephone and email to qualify leads using a scoring system
  • Effectively deal with gatekeepers and decision makers
  • Navigate through a conversation flow to uncover business needs, understand pain points,  and position TBST Digital as a compelling solution
  • Perform follow-up activities
  • Set appointments with prospective clients to be attended by the sales team
  • Maintain and update an accurate log of activity in the CRM system
  • Convey summarised key findings from phone conversations to the rest of the sales team to help refine marketing communications
  • Provide feedback of trends and present any recommendations for improvements
  • Promote and represent our corporate culture and core values
  • Attend virtual sales meetings
  • Produce activity reports as requested
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong sales background and skills
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Lead generation experience
  • Demonstrated successful appointment setting experience
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities and/or tasks
  • Driven and resourceful in finding new approaches to ensure their message is resonating  with potential customers
  • Ability to problem-solve and identify process efficiencies and improvements
  • Familiarity or ability to quickly learn marketing systems and tools
  • Knowledge and experience with Word, Excel, email, and LinkedIn
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM systems
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and researching skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role with particular focus on technology services industry  is highly desirable

KPIs

The values with which we measure how effectively objectives are being achieved

  • Number of calls – the more calls you make, the more sales opportunities you generate.
  • The expected activity level for this position is 50-60 calls per day
  • Amount and quality of appointments set

Bonus

Opportunity to earn a bonus based on achieving measurable targets

  • A bonus payment will be offered based on:
    • The number of quality appointments set (grade A or B)
    • The quantity and value of new business signed based on appointments set by  you
